Project United participated in Switch Day Showcase at Centennial College on Thu 26 Oct, 2023. With participation of 200 high school students, Project United presented 2 interactive quiz shows with the theme: Career Quest with an OVIN Twist. The quiz show included fun and factual questions related to skills required for different career paths including pathways from Ontario’s OVIN Skill and Career Navigator. The games had many challenges and twists and the winners received their well-deserved awards!
Project United also presented Pitch ‘n Win competition and introduced a Design Thinking Methodology to help students develop their business ideas.
To increase student engagement with study material, Project United has developed a soccer video game that uses the students’ competitive spirit to deliver quizzes. The game can be loaded with specific questions, or an existing question bank can be selected for two students to clear. Each answer moves the ball and the students play until one scores a goal.
